About This Project

A native Californian, Kim Glass moved to Pennsylvania at the age of 8 and discovered volleyball a few years later. By her freshman year in high school, she quickly became a household name on the national circuit earning Pennsylvania State Gatorade Player of the Year in 2001 and ranked #2 recruit in the nation before being offered a full scholarship to play at the University of Arizona.

A three-time American Volleyball Coaches All-American and four-time All-Pac-10 (now the Pack 12) pick, Kim is The University of Arizona’s career leader in kills with 2,151 and ranks third all-time in the Pac-10 in the same category.

In 2002, she was an AVCA Second Team All-American and the National Freshman of the Year. In 2003, she was a Third Team All-American. In 2015 she was named to the Pack 12 All-Century Team. Kim had always dreamed of Olympic glory and her goal of representing her country came true as she was selected to Team USA where she would play a major role in beating the host team of China in the 2008 Beijing Olympics for the Silver Medal.

After almost a decade of playing professionally in Brazil, Puerto Rico, Turkey, China and Russia, Kim decided to focus her attention on her post-playing career and give back by working in philanthropy and supporting endeavors such as The Covenant House and Hashtag Lunchbag while competing on MTVs The Challenge: Champs vs Stars. Kim is now considered one of the most sought after personal trainers and health mentors in the country to some of Hollywood’s Elite and speaks on numerous panels throughout the year.

Brands such as TRX, Nike, Halo Neuroscience, Roar Organic and Fabletics have all put their trust in Kim as one of their paid ambassadors who often travels to support their grassroots initiatives and product launches.
